The Bowdoin
This is the research and training ship owned by Maine Maritime Academy (also in Castine). I was fortunate growing up there with its quaint mix of maritime history and summer affluence. I was also able,growing up, to sail on many of the boats owned by the school.
I shot this from the edge of the 100 ft.cliff of my childhood home which has a commanding view of the entrance to Castine's harbor.
