I caught this beautiful old relic just as it entered the harbor of Castine, the bell buoy is just out of sight on the left. Sadly ,5 minutes after taking this shot a sudden squall blew in unexpectedly. Whoever was at the helm was supposedly watching the sonar (which was on the fritz) instead of watching the charts...They ran aground in full view of the whole town ( a humiliating embarrassment in those parts). Fortunately no permanent damage was sustained ...
I have done some photoshop treatment to give this shot a more painterly aspect.
